Lithic Precipice
For the 300th birthday of Capability Brown, we were tasked with designing a scheme to exhibit his work, alongside another function. Having seen the benefits of similar schemes, I proposed the creation of an outdoors activity centre and overnight accommodation. Utilising Brown’s design principles, the proposal aimed to blend into the outcrop, with only the sculptural partition walls exposed.
